This was a typical day?

Every morning I am woken up by the sight of my dog sneaking in after playing in her water then rolling in dirt or mud, either one is fine with her!
Then my son's dogs decide to come and say good morning by slipping in and jumping on my bed as if this is supposed to be normal. Alright, it has gotten out of hand, my hand...and I admit it. I have always had animals but it has gotten more out of hand since all my kids have grown up.
A few years ago I reluctantly gave up my loving Great Dane due to an incident with her and not being able to deal with it emotionally and also physically. Then my 14 yr. old lab mix passed away, and I told myself and hubby that was it, no more dogs!! But when my son and his family moved in behind us with his 2 dogs, I would eye them with yearning. And so, this 61 year old woman begged my husband to get me a puppy because I was lonely and it was my birthday!! AND I COULD HANDLE IT...the famous words..So almost eight months later, this small puppy named Sheba, half Malamute and Pyrenees, has indeed trained me and taught me to slow down and enjoy the licks and the messes she gives me. Is it her fault she is already almost 70 lbs?  In later posts I will tell you about getting a trainer for her(me) and how it works!
